God promises His Children that He will never leave us nor forsake us yet many Believers know the tension of moments where circumstances, pressure, or delay make it feel as though God has forgotten about us…

In this message, we are reminded through Romans 8, Psalm 22, and 1 Samuel 7 that nothing can ever separate us from the love of Christ. Even Jesus, surrounded by wickedness on the cross, echoed David’s cry, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken Me?” not because God had abandoned Him, but because He was carrying the full weight of human brokenness to secure eternal victory.

This message unpacks a powerful spiritual progression seen in Psalm 22:

  • The Bulls — external pressures and circumstances
  • The Wild Dogs — negativity, accusation, and the erosion of peace
  • The Lion — lies aimed at our identity

Through the offering of the Lamb, God thunders on behalf of His people, silences the enemy, and restores confidence in His presence. We are reminded that God doesn’t merely hear our prayers, He listens attentively and with deep interest.

As believers, we are called not only to stand firm in truth, but to carry goodness, peace, and hope into a broken world. Even when surrounded by darkness, we are sent as lambs among wolves – not to retreat – but to transform atmospheres with the Gospel of good news.

God has not forgotten you. He has not forsaken you. And He is deeply invested in your life.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” — Romans 15:13
